A Buddhist Temple Open to Everyone

The Kadampa World Peace Temple is the heart of Kadampa Meditation Centre Australia. It is a source of peace and spiritual inspiration for thousands of visitors every year, and the perfect environment for meditation.
"Just looking at the Temple with a happy mind brings inner peace."
- Geshe Kelsang Gyatso
Just by seeing the Temple and the blessed statues inside we receive profound blessings that lead to an experience of inner peace in the future. Through developing inner peace there is real hope that we can accomplish the peace in this world that everybody longs for.
For this reason, all Kadampa Buddhist Temples are dedicated to world peace.
The first Australian Kadampa Buddhist Temple was opened in 2006. It was built as part of the International Temples Project, an auspicious project to build a World Peace Temple in every major city of the world.
Everyone is welcome to visit the Temple.
