Directions to KMCA
KMC Australia is located in the Dandenong mountains to the east of Melbourne. The Centre is just south of the Silvan Reservoir, between Monbulk and Silvan. Camp Waterman is a well known local landmark and many people will be able to direct you to it, it is also clearly signposted from the road.

By Car
Via Eastern Freeway
Look at an online map for this route
Drive to the end of the eastern freeway and turn right into Springvale Road (signposted for Nunawading).
Get in the left hand lane along Springvale road and after a few sets of traffic lights turn left along the Maroondah Highway.
Go down this highway for a while (10 - 15 min... ish) then, after passing through Ringwood, turn right into Mount Dandenong Road.
At the end of Mount Dandenong road turn left, go over the first roundabout and turn right at the second. There will be a motel pub complex at this roundabout which will be on your left as you drive away from the roundabout. This will take you onto York Road.
This road will take you through Mount Evelyn and you will come to aroundabout with a petrol station at the top of the hill, at this point turn right.
Follow this road around for some time (10 mins), through Silvan and after quite a tight right hand bend on the road, as the road curves to the left, to the right you will see an unsealed road with a sign for Camp Waterman on it. This is immediately after you pass by the Silvan Reservoir (you can see the water from the road).
We are 2km up this road which curves round to the right and back again before reaching our property (please drive slowly here to avoid disturbing the neighbours).
If you get to Monbulk or see a Mitre 10 shop you have gone too far, turn around and drive for about 4 minutes and look for a sign to Camp Waterman on the left.
Via Monash Freeway
Look at an online map for this route
Leave the freeway at the Ferntree Gully Road exit. Continue to the end of Ferntree Gully Road and take a right turn into Burwood Highway.
Take the Burwood highway to Belgrave.
Go straight over the roundabout at the end of the main Belgrave shopping street.
At the next roundabout take the second exit. (Following the signs for Monbulk C404)
Continue along this winding road until you come to the Monbulk Roundabout (a roundabout with a Mitre 10 shop on the left.)
Turn left here and McCarthy Road is about 4 minutes down that road on the left hand side. You will see signs to Camp Waterman.
Turn left into McCarthy Road. We are 2km up this road which curves round to the right and back again before reaching our property (please drive slowly here to avoid disturbing the neighbours).
By Public Transport
From Melbourne take a Belgrave Line train all the way to Belgrave, the end of the line. From Belgrave take the bus to Monbulk: the buses leave outside the station, turn right when leaving the station. Please note that buses do not always run from Belgrave to Monbulk.

From the airport
From Tullamarine Airport take Skybus to Southern Cross Train Station (formerly Spencer Street). From here follow the public transport directions outlined above.
Skybus operates every 10-15 minutes (Monday to Friday) from 0600 to 2200. Saturday and Sunday from 0730 to 1830. The cost is $15 one way or $24 return. The journey takes about 30 minutes from the airport to the city.
From Avalon Airport take Sunbus to Southern Cross Train Station (formerly Spencer Street). From here follow the public transport directions outlined above. Sunbus meets every JetStar flight, so it's fairly straightforward. It is not neccesary to book. It is $19 one way and $34 return.
By Charter Bus
Alternatively you can arrange to travel using Eastside Buslines which operate a service from the airport to Monbulk. This service operates ONLY on a pre-booked and pre-paid basis and they recommend that you book well in advance.
